I believe that writing a final reflection is a great way to understand yourself as not only a writer or composer, but also as the reader or audience. By portraying both of these roles, I was able to fulfill each task and activity in my English 1102 course and compose my final portfolio.

These reading assignments were mostly always excerpts from academic journals or some type of academic article. This portfolio will show how I as a writer have grown from writing down the first thought that comes to my head, to conveying my ideas in a clear and articulate way that has a particular purpose, made for a specific audience. I now understand that writing is a process of drafting, revising, and editing that can turn a satisfactory paper into an outstanding one.
Throughout ENC 1101 I have improved in many areas. I now completely understand how to approach rhetorical situation, the writing process and I comprehend the four constituents of discourse and know how to apply them to my writing. Literacy Narrative This Literacy Narrative was the very first paper I wrote in ENC 1102. One thing that this paper enabled me to do was to contemplate on when I first began to read which is not something that I have thought of in the past and got me to realize all the factors that contributed to my learning.

The essay was fairly easy as yo were just getting past what meets the eye, which at times was confusing. You only received one peer review which made it difficult to revise since it would have been more helpful to have more than just one set of eyes looking over it. Again, job well done!
